Your MCCT, Daiana Stoicescu, has completed exhaustive and intensive training in order to be able to offer this program to you. During this process, you progress along three stages:

Stage One: Demonstrate competency with the basic coaching conversations.

Stage Two: Show that you can coach executives and managers on common issues (e.g., influence, conflict, managing up, engaging employees, building one’s power base, career development, accountability, communicating powerfully, and strategic clarity). During the process, we break this stage into a series of different modules.

Stage Three: Develop your own tools and frameworks to coach executives and managers on new issues. In this stage, you are a coaching “thought leader” who can handle any issue that comes your way and use your own creativity and experience to move people forward.

While working with your MCCT, Daiana Stoicescu, you also become a member of the Center for Executive Coaching. You receive all of our materials and access to our weekly teleclasses and international network of coaches. In addition, we will review a set of recorded coaching conversations between you and Daiana. Center for Executive Coaching (CEC) certified coaches undergo a rigorous, ICF-approved training process that prepares them to work with high-profile executives on a range of pressing issues and methods to improve performance. The core of our executive and leadership coaching certification program includes key foundational elements in the following coaching domains: behavioral coaching, transformational coaching, perceptual coaching, and executive career transition coaching. Unlike many other coach training programs, we train our members to address the most pressing problems that executives face, with a strong emphasis on achieving specific, measurable, and aggressive results.

CEC certified coaches have successfully coached executives and leaders from a wide range of companies and non-profits including Fortune 500 companies, major technology firms, healthcare systems, pharmaceutical companies, universities, financial services companies, emerging growth companies, professional service firms, foundations, national and local non-profits, retailers, real estate companies, and manufacturers.

In order to get Certified with us, individuals must demonstrate the following competencies:

1.     Follow the International Coach Federation standards of ethical conduct for coaches.

2.     Structure an executive coaching engagement with clients for maximum impact.

3.     Embody the attitudes of the consummate professional, with an emphasis on integrity, relationships, results, and standing for the client’s most ambitious goals and aspirations.

4.     Establish an executive coaching contract with clients to maintain confidentiality and create a safe environment for results.

5.     Set specific, measurable goals that bring enormous value to clients and can be tracked for mutual accountability and sustainable results.

6.     When appropriate, assess client behaviors and impact by conducting confidential interviews with colleagues (only with the client’s permission and involvement).

7.     Ask powerful questions and listen in ways that help clients generate insights about how they can achieve their goals — while also providing advice and mentoring when appropriate.

8.     Bring distinctions, tools and frameworks to the client in the following areas where leaders typically face issues: managing time, setting strategy, communicating powerfully, building one’s power base, engaging employees, managing up, building a high-performance culture, assuring accountability, influencing others, navigating the political landscape, making transitions to a new role, managing change, resolving conflicts, and developing one’s career.

9.     Develop and share deep, industry- and function-specific tools to help clients resolve pressing problems unique to their current situation.
To get Certified, our members are tested with rigorous simulated coaching sessions covering all aspects of the executive and leadership coaching process, including their ability to handle the many curve balls, challenges, and obstacles that can come up for clients. In addition to the core certification process, most graduates stay involved as active participants in ongoing learning as new knowledge and insights are brought to the program on an ongoing basis.
